Wildhorse Escape comfortably houses a family of eight plus, and is located on the gorgeous, undulating west shore of Flathead Lake in western Montana.
Your Daily Adventure
Wake up each day directly across the water from Wild Horse Island State Park. Hiking, kayaking, boating, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and swimming are all close at hand.
Tie your boat up to the dock during the day and safely on the mooring ball at night.
Boat over to the island for a picnic and swimming along the public shoreline, or in the evening to see deer, big horn sheep and occasionally a wild horse coming to the water.
Stunning Views & Comfort
Spectacular lake and mountain views greet you from nearly every living space in and around the house: great room lake views, kitchen lake views, upstairs master lake views, downstairs master lake view, the huge, covered side deck has incredible lake views and even the hot tub and the back deck have lake views. You’ll find multiple places to gather. And, places to be alone.
Accommodation Details
Wildhorse Escape comfortably sleeps eight and with an inflatable queen bed can sleep ten.
Bedrooms include a master upstairs (queen) with private bathroom, a master downstairs (queen) with private bathroom and two private bedrooms on the main level (one queen and one full) which share the main level bathroom.
A sliding barn door closes off the hallway from the rest of the house for bedroom privacy. We recommend the inflatable be utilized in the downstairs master area.
Local Attractions & Amenities
Wildhorse Escape is five to fifteen minutes to several local restaurants and espresso shacks along Highway 93 north in Lakeside and a pair of restaurants in the Lake Mary Ronan area.
Kalispell is 35 minutes north. Polson is 25 minutes south (nearest Starbucks).
The number one tourist site, Costco, is 45 minutes north. Whitefish is one hour north.
Glacier Park is one hour and ten minutes north. You’ll find great golf courses north or south.
Rental Information
Come experience Flathead Lake and all the area has to offer and respectfully enjoy our beautiful home. Wild Horse Escape rents for $7000 per week plus taxes (8% State taxes) $560 and fees (Cleaning) $350. $7910 total for seven nights.
Sleeps up to 10 people.
Weeks available in 2026:
We prefer 7 night stays, in on Saturday or in on Sunday.
We are renting only four weeks (28 nights) in July. We will consider odd weeks but there will be an up charge.
